Located in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, Château Ferran is a historic Bordeaux estate with origins dating back to the 18th century. Once owned by the philosopher Montesquieu's family, the property has long been associated with the great traditions of the Graves region.

The vineyard lies on the gravelly terraces of Martillac, an area renowned for its well-drained soils and its capacity to produce wines of both finesse and character. The terroir, a mix of gravel and clay-limestone, is ideally suited to growing classic Bordeaux varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot for the reds, along with Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon for the whites.

The estate covers approximately 70 hectares and it is certified HVE3 (High Environmental Value) since 2018.

Wines:

Red Pessac-Léognan: Elegant and structured, with notes of ripe black fruits, spices, and subtle oak. The wines display balance, freshness, and aging potential.

White Pessac-Léognan: A bright, mineral-driven white blend with citrus, white peach, and floral notes, offering both aromatic precision and vibrant tension.

Château Ferran is a discreet but compelling estate in the Pessac-Léognan landscape, steeped in history, family-run, and committed to crafting wines that are both authentic and refined.
