Visit at Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair, July 2019

It is always a great moment when visiting the Domaine of Louis-Michel Liger Belair whose cellar is under the Chateau de Vosne-Romanée.

The Domaine was created in 2000 by Louis Michel Liger-Belair but it is in fact a very old estate that has over 200 years of family tradition. Domaine du Comte Liger Belair produces great wines including 3 Monopoles: Clos du Château and La Romanée in Vosnes-Romanée as well as Clos des Grandes vignes in Prémeaux-Prissey.

La Romanée is one of the 6 grands crus of Vosne Romanée and it is the smallest wine AOC in France (0.8452 hectare).
