Domaine d'Eugénie, Vosne-Romanée

Domaine d'Eugénie was born in July 2006 when François Pinault bought the estate from René Engel.

The estate produces 6 wines in red (Clos de Vougeot, Echezeaux, Grand Echezeaux, Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Aux Brulées", Vosne-Romanée Village "Clos d'Eugénie" and Vosne-Romanée Village) and, since 2012, 4 wines in white (Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault Les Perrières). The total planted surface area is 4.51 hectares.

Each plot or group of plots is managed differently. Only organic fertilizers are used.

Conversion to biodynamic methods was initiated with the Clos d'Eugénie and the Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru plots in 2009.

In 2010 the Echézeaux plot was also included.

Eventually, the entire Domaine d'Eugénie vineyard will be converted to biodynamic farming.
